CIP participates at SNITTS’ (Swedish Network for Innovation and Technology Transfer Support) yearly conference Innovation by Collaboration in Stockholm, to join in the discussions on how to maximize Sweden’s innovation capacity and what best practice cases to be inspired from on both and national and international level.

CIP Deputy Director Bowman Heiden will talk on the first day on the topic “What can we actually accomplish? – a therapy session” where he will bring attention to the value creation of technology transfer.

CIP’s colleague Knut Egelie will also talk on the second day on “The development of the IP and patent landscape for CRIPSR/Cas”.

Today the CIP Research Worskhop gathers researchers from all three partner universities to Gothenburg, to discuss ongoing and future research in the field of IP. Twenty researchers from University of Gothenburg, Chalmers and NTNU present research in a wide range of topics, from patent litigation, to blockchain technology and cultural commons.

This will be the start of a research seminar series to increase collaboration between the CIP university partners.
